About 12 years ago I saw my first eclipse in Belgium, although it was not a total one, there was more to see that the one today! Because of course it was cloudy.
The one positive side about this is that we could experience real darkness at 9:11 am for about three minutes. Pretty fun.
Four minutes after the sun came out for about a minute, just enough time to snap some pictures. Here is one of the and basicly the other 7 look almost the same ;) Just want to share this one with you.

Our new apartment.
Here is a picture of our new place; about a week ago I started water proofing the gardens, kitchen and bathroom. Now a week later they finished tiling the front garden and are working on the bathrooms. The gardens, kitchen and bathrooms should be done by the end of the week; allthough I don't believe this but maybe they will come and work with double capacity. After this is done it will be my job to paint the walls.

Baby Stuff
Every week we are getting more and more baby stuff... a stroler we already have. And it will come in handy because I'm not planning to put our baby in a basket (like this grandpa) the whole time. Although we will be buying one of these baskets to put our little monster in from time to time! And if I'm not using it; the basket will be great decoration for the baby room.
We recently bought an apartment and are now spending our summer holiday decorating it. The baby room has a fun shape (a picture will follow later)... it's octangular! The color will be light yellow and the furniture white. More later :)
By the way this picture was taken from the sixth floor while watching the Dragon Boat Race.

Blogging in China
It's hard to keep a blog in China... blocked sites are not uncommon. But as you can see there are always ways around. Another blogger in Chengdu told me how to post pictures, so just want to try this. Hope you like the picture though ;)
